
National Business Manager – Woolworths, Lion Nathan Australia
I joined Lion Nathan in June 2004 as National Account Manager for BWS. Lion Nathan’s reputation as a great employer was the main factor in my decision to join the company. This was backed up by the opportunity to work in the liquor industry and sell something that I felt passionate about – beer!
In my first role I was responsible for the day to day account management of our largest chain liquor store customer. This was the perfect place to get to know our brands and our key customers. After just over a year I was promoted to National Business Manager for the Woolworths group. This gave me an opportunity to expand my knowledge of the industry with a broad range of channels to manage from liquor barns to hotels. This has also been my first opportunity to manage a team at Lion Nathan and I am really enjoying the coaching and development side of my role.
