Our breweries and wineries participate in the Australian Government’s National Pollutant Inventory Programme which involves reporting emissions from fuel combustion and other operation activities. We have actively supported this programme from its beginnings in 1998 through development and trialling of industry handbooks and guides for reporting.
Designed to provide the community, industry and government with information on the types and amounts of specified substances discharged into the environment, the programme has helped us focus on reducing emissions by motivating us even more to identify and invest in ‘low emission’ technology and equipment.
