Good corporate governance encompasses accountability and transparency to shareholders in respect of Lion Nathan’s performance, as well as ensuring that the structures, processes, policies and charters needed to optimise that corporate performance are in place.

We are committed to best practice corporate governance and processes that enhance the Company's effectiveness.

We endorse the view that the 10 core principles of the ASX Corporate Governance Council Principles of Good Corporate Governance and Best Practice Recommendations form a sound platform for supporting good corporate governance practices.

We currently have a comprehensive corporate governance regime that the Board considers appropriate to Lion Nathan and its operations, and which is consistent in almost all respects with international best practice and the ASX Recommendations.

We continually review our practices and will continue to refine them in light of the ASX Recommendations and standards of best practice that develop in the market, consistent with the needs and circumstances of the Company.
